Position Title: Business Analyst – Windows 7 Migration
Position Location: Alpharetta, GA.
Position Duration: 12 months Contract

NOTE: Must have 7-10 years of experience required and should have IT or related degree as well.
Position Description:
- Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
- Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organizations systems and capabilities.
- Analyzes business partners operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.
- Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
- Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.
- Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business.
- Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.
- Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprises competitive edge.
- May make recommendations for buy versus build decision.
Required Skills:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- The candidate must possess the ability to solve practical problems, demonstrate expertise in a variety of the telecommunications field concepts, practices, procedures, and possess the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- 5 years experience in Application integration and packaging
- PowerShell scripting and Microsoft SQK Knowledge
- Technical procedures
- Develop and Train Staff
- Influencing Behavior and Thinking of Staff
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, and Information’s Systems or other Degree with minimum 7-10 years of relevant technical or business work experience.
- Experience would be practical hands on practice within the field of Managed Client, Information Systems or Data Center operations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Individual who is experience with Windows 7 deployments and will be responsible for the distribution of packaged applications and preparation for a Windows 7 migration. The Engineer will be asked to have they key responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Coordinating profile management and application packaging / deployment
- Deploying desktop upgrades and following each through to completion
- Perform maintenance of group processes, documentation, communication, and procedures
- Technical project management may be required
- Take primary responsibility for analyzing of current day-to-day operations of the client operations and ensuring the Windows 7 Migration Path for Services.
- Responsible for coordinating profile management and application packaging / deployment
- Responsible for deploying desktop upgrades and following each through to completion process compliance; improved use of existing tools; escalation point for on-site support (Level 2).
- Perform maintenance of group processes, documentation, communication, and procedures
- Technical project management may be required Champion FMO Solution and gain user/operations adoption.
